Cleric
The Cleric is a mage class in Divinity: Original Sin 2.
“Heals allies or smashes skulls, depending on direction of the winds.„
Overview
[edit | edit source]The Cleric is a hybrid support preset that pairs Hydrosophist with Necromancer magic. Hydrosophist spells restore vitality and magic armour, while Necromancer skills deal physical damage and restore the caster's vitality with every hit. The preset favours Strength, Intelligence, and Constitution, and starts with a one-handed mace and shield.
Like all classes in Divinity: Original Sin 2, the Cleric is a starting preset rather than a permanent choice. Attribute and ability points can be allocated freely on each level-up, and full respecification is available from Act Two onward via the magic mirror aboard the Lady Vengeance. Enabling the Fort Joy Magic Mirror gift bag feature also makes a mirror available in Act One.
No origin character uses this preset by default.

Starting skills
[edit | edit source]- Decaying Touch (Necromancer)
- Deals physical damage to a target at melee range. Targets without physical armour are afflicted with Decaying, which turns all non-necromantic healing into physical damage for two turns.
- Blood Sucker (Necromancer)
- Absorbs a blood surface beneath the target, restoring vitality proportional to the amount of blood absorbed. Can be cast on allies within 13 metres.
- Restoration (Hydrosophist)
- Grants the Regenerating status effect to the caster or an ally within 13 metres, restoring vitality over two turns. Also removes Acid, Bleeding, Burning, Poisoned, and Suffocating.
The Hot Head talent increases critical chance by 10% and accuracy by 10% while the character is at maximum vitality.
