Deep Freeze is a master Hydrosophist skill.

Description

[edit | edit source]

Deep Freeze is a offensive hydrosophist skill that allows caster to send forth (up to 8 meters) a small freezing wave that will deal water damage to all characters (including allies) and instantly kill those who are already under Frozen status effect and below 10 % Vitality. The freezing wave also leaves an ice surface which will melt after 1 turn and turn into water surface.

Characters without Magic Armour will be afflicted Frozen status effect for 1 turn. Thus the Deep Freeze skill bypasses the need for enemies to be afflicted with Chilled or Wet status effects in order to incapacitate them. Note that enemies who have lost all Magic Armour and wind up under 10 % Vitality due to Deep Freeze skill will be only afflicted with Frozen status effect.

Since Deep Freeze relies on Hydrosophy magic it cannot be cast if caster is affected by Silenced and Enraged status effects. Deep Freeze skill is not reflected back when the target is under Deflective Barrier skill (Definitive Edition only).
