Overview
editThe Wayfarer is a ranged survivalist preset that pairs Geomancer magic with Huntsman skills. Huntsman skills provide powerful ranged attacks that benefit from high ground bonuses, while Geomancer spells create oil surfaces and offer defensive utility. The preset favours Finesse and Intelligence, and starts with a crossbow.
Like all classes in Divinity: Original Sin 2, the Wayfarer is a starting preset rather than a permanent choice. Attribute and ability points can be allocated freely on each level-up, and full respecification is available from Act Two onward via the magic mirror aboard the Lady Vengeance. Enabling the Fort Joy Magic Mirror gift bag feature also makes a mirror available in Act One.
Of all origin characters, Ifan ben-Mezd uses this preset by default.

Starting skills
edit- Elemental Arrowheads (Huntsman)
- Coats the caster's ranged weapon with the element of a nearby surface, adding bonus elemental damage to attacks for three turns.
- Pin Down (Huntsman)
- Fires a pinning arrow at a target, dealing physical damage. Targets without physical armour are crippled, restricting their movement.
- Fossil Strike (Geomancer)
- Hurls an oil-filled rock at a target area within 13 metres, dealing earth damage in a 2-metre radius and creating an oil surface. Targets without magic armour standing in oil are slowed.
The Pet Pal talent allows the Wayfarer to speak with animals, unlocking additional dialogue and information.
