Acid Spores is an expert Geomancer source skill.

Characteristics

Acid Spores is a offensive geomancer source skill that allows caster to shoot three spores filled with corrosive acid at target locations in 13 meter radius. Each spore does poison damage to all characters in 2 meter impact radius and creates a cursed poison cloud which lasts for 2 turns and then turns into poison cloud.

Characters without Magic Armour will be afflicted with Poisoned status effect for 3 turns and suffer damage directly to their health, with the exception of Undead. All characters standing in the cursed poison cloud will be afflicted Acid status effect which destroys Physical Armour for 1 turn.

Since Acid Spores relies on Geomancy magic it cannot be cast if caster is affected by Silenced and Enraged status effects. Acid Spores skill is reflected back when the target is under Deflective Barrier skill (Definitive Edition only).

Skill Modifiers

Damage of this skill is calculated with the following formula: (Base Damage) x (1 + Elemental Bonus%) x (1 + Attribute Bonus% + Weapon Skill Bonus %) x (1 + High Ground Bonus% + Crit Bonus%) x ( 1 + Misc Bonus %)

The damage of this skill is affected by the following attributes of the caster:

  1. Level
  2. Geomancer ability
  3. Intelligence attribute
  4. Height bonus
  5. Critical Damage Modifier

Out of these the most effect on the damage have Level and then Geomancer ability as the latter increases damage by 5 % per point. Level provides greatest boost to the damage done. Intelligence provides the lowest bonus out of the three (3 points in Intelligence are equal to 1 point of Geomancer).

When it comes to enemies they may resist poison damage if they have: Poison Immunity Status and high enough Poison Resistance (which lowers poison damage done). Additionally any character that is Undead or has the talent Undead, will automatically have + 200 % Poison Resistance which will cause them to heal from all poison damage done.

Acid Spores properties can be affected by talents, consumable items (some of which may be affected by Five-Star Diner talent) and other skills.
