Fossil Strike is a starter Geomancer skill.

Description

[edit | edit source]

Fossil Strike is an offensive geomancer skill that allows the caster to hurl a large oil-filled rock at a target area in a 13-meter radius. The rock will deal earth damage to all characters in a 2-meter impact radius and create an oil surface. All characters without Magic Armour will suffer damage directly to their Vitality. All characters standing in an oil surface will be afflicted with the Slowed status effect for 2 turns.

Since Fossil Strike relies on Geomancy magic, it cannot be cast if the caster is affected by Silenced and Enraged status effects. Fossil Strike skill is reflected back when the target is under the Deflective Barrier skill (Definitive Edition only).
