Poisoned is a status effect in Divinity: Original Sin 2.

Description

Poisoned is a negative environmental status effect that inflicts poison damage upon the afflicted character, damaging their Magic armour first and Vitality afterwards. Unlike most status effects this one has beneficial effect upon the Undead; instead of harm the amount of poison damage normally dealt will restore their Vitality.

Cause

There are many ways through which burning status effect can be triggered. On Rivellon poisoned can be afflicted by being in contact with poison surface and/or poison cloud. In combat one may use items and spells to inflict Poisoned upon their foes, however one unassuming way of poisoning characters is by disguising Poison Bottle with Red Fabric Dye into Healing Potion.

Treatment

Poisoned status effect can be treated by either negating the status effect or endured by keeping Magic armour above 0.

Status removal

Template:Pagename nd is a status that can be removed mostly only through spells/skills or scrolls. Out of items only Stoneskin Potion can remove this status effect by providing immunity against it.
