Summon Cat Familiar is a special summoning skill that allows caster to call forth the Black Cat they had rescued from Fort Joy at chosen location in 13 meter radius for 10 turns. The cat will deal physical damage with its basic close range attacks. The cat has no immunities or resistances. The cat also has no Magic or Physical Armour upon conjuration and has 6 Action Points. The Black Cat also has no combat abilities, nor does it receive any combat abilities at higher levels.
Since Summon Cat Familiar relies on Summoning magic it cannot be cast if caster is affected by File:Silenced.png Silenced and File:Enraged.png Enraged status effects.

Skill Modifiers
editSummon Cat Familiar is a summoning skill and as such it is primarily affected by Level, Summoning ability of the caster. Due to the black cat relying heavily on physical attacks it also receives large bonus from Warfare ability. However unlike Raise Bone Widow or Raise Bloated Corpse it does not receive any bonus to Warfare (or any combat ability) upon leveling up.
Summon Cat Familiar properties can be affected by talents and skills. With the exception of infusions, which do not work in the base game, the black cat can be buffed the same way as any allied character or companion. Note that while Enrage warfare skill will boost its attack it will make it unable to cast Feline Leap and Swap Places as it will be File:Silenced.png Silenced.

Gift Bag: Pet Power

Notes
edit- Feline Leap and Swap Places can effectively give the main character useful self-teleporting mobility. Unlike Teleportation the Swap Places spell does not cause physical damage upon using it, thus allowing the summoner to get some distance from their enemies, if used right.
