Atrophy (Status)

From dos2.wiki

Template:Infobox Skill

Template:Quote

Atrophy is a status effect in Divinity: Original Sin 2.

Description

edit

Atrophy is a negative skill status effect. Characters afflicted by it will become disarmed and unable to use their weapons and skills associated with them. The effect takes place only if character does not have Physical armour above 0. The only exception to this rule are characters with Glass Cannon talent.

List of affected skills

Following table shows all skills that will be rendered unusable once character is affected by Atrophy. Once the status is removed the following skills will be usable once more; unless character does not meet the prerequisites (ie. has enough Action Points etc.).

Cause

Treatment

edit

As with any other negative status effect, there are ways how to avoid and negate its effects. First and most important is to keep Physical armour value above 0. Note that the status effect cannot be resisted or avoided if character wears the Soft Touch unique gloves. In such case the effect can be removed only by removing the gloves.

Physical armour restoration

edit

Atrophy can be resisted if character has Physical armour above 0. This does not apply to characters with Glass Cannon talent.
