Description

[edit | edit source]
    • Pyroclastic Eruption** allows the caster to hurl large oil-filled rocks at all hostile characters in a 13-meter radius of the caster. Each rock will deal very high earth damage to all hostile characters in a 3-meter impact radius and create an oil surface. The damage will overlap and increase significantly if multiple enemies are standing close to one another, as each target generates its own AoE explosion.

All characters without Magic Armour will suffer damage directly to their Vitality. All characters standing in an oil surface will be afflicted with the Slowed status effect for 2 turns.

Since Pyroclastic Eruption relies on Geomancy magic, it cannot be cast if the caster is affected by Silenced or Enraged status effects. The skill is reflected back when the target is under the Deflective Barrier skill; however, the deflected projectile deals no damage to the caster or their allies (Definitive Edition only).
