Overview

The Rogue is a mobile melee preset that relies on Scoundrel skills supplemented by Dual Wielding proficiency. Scoundrel skills provide backstab opportunities, crowd control, and mobility, while Dual Wielding boosts damage and dodge chance when wielding two daggers. The preset favours Finesse and Wits, and starts with two daggers.

Like all classes in Divinity: Original Sin 2, the Rogue is a starting preset rather than a permanent choice. Attribute and ability points can be allocated freely on each level-up, and full respecification is available from Act Two onward via the magic mirror aboard the Lady Vengeance. Enabling the Fort Joy Magic Mirror gift bag feature also makes a mirror available in Act One.

Of all origin characters, Sebille uses this preset by default.

Throwing KnifeThrowing Knife (Scoundrel)
Throws three knives at a single target, dealing physical damage. Can backstab if aimed at the target's back, dealing critical damage.
BacklashBacklash (Scoundrel)
Teleports behind an enemy within 8 metres and backstabs them, dealing guaranteed critical physical damage.
AdrenalineAdrenaline (Scoundrel)
Immediately grants 2 bonus action points, but removes 2 action points on the following turn.

The The PawnThe Pawn talent grants 1 free action point of movement at the start of each turn in combat.

The Rogue mercenary is Pestilence, an undead lizard survivor available for hire from Sergeant ZrillaSergeant Zrilla.

Pestilence is the rogue for you. Good thing you're paying for his company – I wouldn't turn my back on him otherwise...
