Terrified is a status effect in Divinity: Original Sin 2.

Description

Terrified is a negative skill status effect. Characters afflicted by it will be unable to act and will try to get as far away as possible from the character that inflicted it.

Cause

Terrified can be primarily caused by skills and items. Most notably through Scoundrel skill and weapons.

Treatment

As with any other negative status effect, there are two ways how to avoid and negate its effects. First its important to keep Magic armour value above 0. Secondly status effect Clear-Minded protect from being affected by Terrified.

Magic armour restoration

Terrified can be resisted if character has Magic armour above 0 or is immune to this status effect outright (most common with Undead NPCs). This does not apply to characters with Glass Cannon talent.

Following skills will remove Terrified status entirely.
