Dallis the Hammer is a white magister general of Lucian's Divine Order. She, alongside Lucian, is credited for saving Rivellon from the void in 1242 AD.
Background
[edit | edit source]A long-standing white magister, Dallis was known for her kindness and incredible strategic mind. However, at some time prior to 1242 AD, the original Dallis entered a crypt and was slain by the daughter of Fane, who then used Dallis' face to make a shape-shifting mask. In the form of Dallis, she joined Lucian and exposed the true origins of the Seven Gods. Together, they made a plan to purge the world of source. Following the replacement, her behaviour noticeably changed, with her close friends lamenting her change.[1]
To achieve this goal, Dallis uncovered the Source collars and purging wands on Reaper's Eye, and ordered Sourcerers from across Rivellon to be transported to Fort Joy, where they would be 'cured' of Source. She also had the captured necromancer, Tarquin, resurrect Braccus Rex (whom she disguised as Vredeman). Using Braccus as a 'source bloodhound', she uncovered the Aeteran from the Blackpits. In addition to this, she also learned how to transform into a dragon from him, a skill believed to only be known to the Dragon Knights.
Dallis had numerous clashes with the Godwoken while trying to enact this plan, however, she eventually was successful in using the Aeteran to drain the source wellspring and killing Alexandar. When the Godwoken reached Arx and learned the truth behind the Gods themselves, they surrendered their Source. Dallis and Lucian then used the Aeteran to mend the veil, stopping the voidwoken from reclaiming Rivellon.

[edit | edit source]- Despite being a white magister, Dallis is sometimes represented by the artwork of a red magister female.
- In non-canonical endings of the game, Dallis could be killed alongside Lucian and the rest of the white magisters.
- Defeating her at Fort Joy will make her drop The Reckoning.
- Defeating her time at Lady Vengeance will make her drop Blazing Justice.
- Defeating her at Lady Vengeance will make her drop shield Radiant Aegis.
- In combat Dallis can use Source Vampirism more than once.
