Permafrost (Status)

Permafrost is a status effect in Divinity: Original Sin 2.

Description

Permafrost is a positive status effect that can be used by caster themselves or cast at their ally. Permafrost will make afflicted character invulnerable to all types of damage and grant them Immunity to many negative status effects whilst restoring their Vitality.

Character afflicted by this effect gains:

• Fire Resistance + 100 %
• Water Resistance + 100 %
• Air Resistance + 100 %
• Earth Resistance + 100 %
• Poison Resistance + 100 %
• Physical Resistance + 100 %
• Piercing Resistance + 100 %

Character also gains Immunity to following:

• Burning
• Stunned
• Poisoned
• Charmed
• Terrified
• Bleeding
• Petrified
• Taunted
• Sleeping
• Mad
• Shocked
• Shackles of Pain

Cause

Permafrost can only be caused by adept Hydrosophist spell Cryogenic Stasis.

Treatment

Permafrost cannot be dispelled or otherwise negated by any means.
