The Band of Braccus is a unique ring and quest item.
One of the many artefacts from the times of the Sourcerer King, Braccus Rex. The ring itself bears a lingering Curse on the last person who wore the ring; even after removal it remains until another is foolish enough to wear it. Not even Sourcerer magic can remove the curse from the ring itself.
Those who have been Blessed will find the curse lifted, and if the ring was worn at the time of the bless will fall off their hand, but remain in their possession.
Within the Dark Cavern, after defeating Trompdoy and his illusions for the second time, the band can be looted from the spirital corpse of the true Trompody.
