Melee attacks deal additional fire damage to burning targets, poison damage to poisoned targets and physical damage to bleeding targets

Sadist is a gift bag talent, added by the Divine Talents feature.

Sadist adds bonus elemental damage to melee attacks against targets suffering from specific status effects: bonus fire damage to Burning targets, bonus poison damage to Poisoned targets, and bonus physical damage to Bleeding targets.

Strategy

  • Sadist rewards a debuff-then-strike playstyle, pairing naturally with the TorturerTorturer talent, which allows Burning, Poisoned, and Bleeding to be applied through armour.
  • The bonus damage scales with level, making it increasingly valuable in the later acts.
  • Melee Warfare builds that create fire or poison surfaces (via Pyrokinetic or Geomancer spells) can trigger Sadist consistently.
  • The internal talent ID is `Sadist`.
