Gareth is the leader of the Seekers who sought to free Verdas from Fort Joy in 1242 AD.
Background
[edit | edit source]Gareth is a human who was born and raised in the farmlands on Reaper's Coast and is the leader of the Seeker contingent on Fort Joy. Initially making camp on the hillside south of the north east harbour, the Magisters launched an assault on the contingent. Moving the escapees and wounded who were not captured to Sanctuary of Amadia, Gareth then sought out to investigate the Magister activity at the old Fort Joy armoury, where again he alone was attacked by the Magisters within.
Upon being rescued by the Godwoken and discovering Verdas' condition, he worked with them to escape Reapers' Eye, by the stealing the Lady Vengeance, Dallis' personal ship and sailing out to Reapers' Coast.
Upon arrival he returned home to discover his parents murdered by Silent Monks, two of which were locked inside his home. After burying his parents he continued with the Godwoken and Malady to the Nameless Isle and further onwards to Arx.
