Overview

Slingshot increases grenade throwing distance by 5 metres.

Slingshot is a weak talent. The 5-metre range increase on grenades addresses a problem that rarely matters – most grenades already have sufficient range for the majority of encounters.
Grenades are situational consumables, not a core damage source. Spending a talent point to improve their range is a poor investment compared to any offensive talent.
Characters who use grenades heavily are better served by talents that increase their overall damage output rather than the range of an occasional consumable.
