I am a man of my word. Alas, so is He.

I have prided myself on being my own man, but the spectre of mortality proved my weakness. I allowed myself to be seduced into the Covenant. I gave myself to Him as His servant, as His warrior. In a rich existence, it is my one regret.

I am sworn still. Soon, however, I shall be un-sworn. The key that will free me from these shackles is soon to seek entry - and I shall be a most hospitable host.
