Living Armour

From dos2.wiki
Living Armour
Living Armour adds 35% of all healing you receive by skills or consumables to your Magic Armour.

Living Armour is a talent.

Overview

edit

Living Armour converts 35% of all healing received into magic armour restoration. This includes healing from all sources, such as Necromancer lifesteal. The magic armour restored is affected by Hydrosophist.

Strategy

  • Living Armour is most commonly paired with Necromancer lifesteal, which heals the character passively when dealing damage. Because Necromancer builds generate healing frequently, Living Armour can provide a steady stream of magic armour restoration throughout combat.
  • The talent is reactive – it only restores magic armour that has already been lost. If magic armour is at full value, the restoration is wasted.
  • The Necromancer lifesteal interaction requires breaking enemy armour before dealing vitality damage, at which point the enemy can already be crowd-controlled, reducing the need for armour restoration.
  • Living Armour can provide a safety net on lower difficulties, but is generally outperformed by offensive alternatives on Tactician and Honour mode.
