UID: Target_Infect

Infect is a offensive Necromancer skill. It allows the caster to deal physical damage by cursing their enemy with infectious disease for 2 turns. Characters without Physical Armour are afflicted with the Infected status effect that lowers Constitution by 1 point (lowers maximum Vitality by 7%) and damage attribute by 35%.

Because Infect causes infectious disease, it will spread to all characters in a 5 meter radius from the afflicted character and inflict them with the Infected status effect, which can be further passed to another character in a 5 meter radius from them. A character that was originally afflicted with the Infected status effect will in turn be afflicted with the Diseased status effect for 2 turns, which does not spread further and prevents them from being further afflicted with the Infected status effect.

Since Infect relies on Necromancy magic, it cannot be cast if the character is affected by Silenced or Enraged status effects. Infect skill damage is not reflected back when the target is under the Deflective Barrier skill (Definitive Edition only).
