Contamination is a starter Geomancer skill.

Description

edit

Contamination is an offensive geomancer skill that allows the caster to release a poisonous wave that will transform all blood and water surfaces as well as clouds into poison. The wave will deal poison damage to all characters in an 8-meter radius from the caster. Note that if any of those surfaces or clouds had been blessed/cursed they will retain these effects for 2 turns before becoming base poison surfaces or clouds which do not disappear on their own.

Characters without Magic Armour will be afflicted with the Poisoned status effect for 2 turns and suffer damage directly to their health, with the exception of Undead who will receive the Poisoned status effect regardless of their armour values and restore their health in proportion to the poison damage dealt by the status.

Since Contamination relies on Geomancy magic it cannot be cast if the caster is affected by Silenced and Enraged status effects. The skill is not reflected back when the target is under the Deflective Barrier skill (Definitive Edition only).
