Executioner
Executioner gives you 2 extra Action Points after dealing a killing blow once per turn.
Requires Warfare 1
Incompatible with The PawnThe Pawn

Executioner is a talent.

Overview

[edit source]

Executioner grants 2 bonus AP when the character lands a killing blow. This effect triggers once per turn.

Strategy

  • Executioner is widely considered one of the best offensive talents in the game. The 2 bonus AP from a kill can fund additional attacks, potentially chaining into further kills and creating a devastating snowball.
  • The talent is best on one or two party members who are most likely to land the finishing blow. After triggering Executioner, if no threats remain before the next Executioner teammate's turn, it is often worth leaving the next kill for them.
  • The Warfare 1 prerequisite is trivially easy to meet, as most physical damage builds already invest in Warfare.
  • The once-per-turn limitation prevents infinite chaining but still provides enormous value for a single talent point.
  • Executioner is generally preferred over The PawnThe Pawn, as ending fights faster through kills provides more value than free movement.
  • The internal talent ID is `Executioner`.
