- Alternatively have activated Gift Bag: Pet Power.
- Speak to Betty.
- Bring Betty close to Rory or vice versa.

Detailed walkthrough
editUpon going to Ryker's cellar and speaking with Betty, you can find out that she is in love with the rat named Rory, who scurries about the nearby slightly elevated, paved platform — however her slowness prevents her from reaching him and confessing her love. In order to complete the quest, the player can use food to bait the rat into coming close to the turtle by either placing fruit or cheese on the ground, which Rory indicates in the player's dialogue with him. Fruit can be found on the ground floor of Ryker's mansion, and taking it or killing masked servants in the mansion will not interfere with the deal the player has made with Ryker on their quest to master the Source. The quest can also be completed by using Nether Swap or Teleportation, however the damage of the Teleportation spell is better not inflicted on Rory.
