Magister Loke is a blind magister guarding an overturned cart in the Hollow Marshes.
Background
[edit | edit source]Loke is a magister who alongside a few magisters, including Farray and Landin, was transporting Source weapons through Hollow Marshes on Dallis and Alexandar's orders. His group was attacked by undead who attempted to overturn the cart and slaughter them. Loke and Landin are the only survivors of the attack; however, Loke was left permanently blinded and alone in guarding the overturned cart whilst Landin went back to Fort Joy. He is afraid of dying in the Hollow Marshes and worried about the severity of his wounds, however he still considers himself to be capable of guarding the cart and fighting.
Loke firmly believes that Sourcerers are dangerous due to their magic luring deadly Voidwoken, however he understands that it's not the Sourcerers' fault and will help them fight off the dark inhabitants in the Hollow Marshes as well as letting them go if his life was saved.
Interactions
[edit | edit source]- Lohse, Sebille, Ifan ben-Mezd and Fane have unique dialogue options when speaking with him for the first time.
- Undead have unique dialogue options if Loke is asked about what happened to him and the cart.
- Telling him you are a Sourcerer and not letting him arrest you (without attacking him) will not allow you to speak with him again with that character (that character will only be able to attack him). However another character can freely speak with him as if nothing happened.
- Letting him shackle you will trigger an ambush from local undead. Loke will remain neutral during the fight and will help you fight off the undead (2 Elven and 2 Dwarven skeletons will spawn).
- Speaking with him again with the "shackled" character after the fight will make him let you go without a fight.
