Walk It Off

From dos2.wiki
Walk It Off
Walk It Off reduces all status durations by 1 turn, including positive statuses. Does not affect statuses with a duration of 1 turn.

Walk It Off is a talent.

Overview

edit

Walk It Off reduces the duration of all status effects on the character by 1 turn. This applies to both negative statuses (such as Burning, Frozen, and Knocked Down) and positive statuses (such as Haste and Fortified).

Strategy

  • Walk It Off is a defensive talent with a significant drawback – it also reduces the duration of positive buffs, which can negate the benefit of self-applied or ally-applied beneficial statuses.
  • The talent is reactive: it mitigates crowd control after it has been applied, rather than preventing it. Investing in offensive talents that prevent enemies from acting entirely is generally more effective.
  • Walk It Off is most effective against multi-turn debuffs, but most dangerous crowd control effects (Knocked Down, Frozen) last only 1–2 turns, and Walk It Off does not prevent the initial turn of incapacitation.

Notes

edit
  • The internal talent ID is `WalkItOff`.
