Carver's Investigation

• Speak with Magister Carver inside Magister Regional Headquarters & Jail - Driftwood
• Speak with Higba at Driftwood Fishworks (optional)
• Speak with Spirit of Magister Harrick inside the Black Bull (optional)
  • Note: Requires the spell Spirit Vision obtained from the quest Powerful Awakening
• Obtain physical proof
  • Steal Chef Wyvlia's Hitlist
  • Steal Magister Seal
  • Have an Elf eat a Meaty Stew purchased at Black Bull
• Decide:
  • Confront Wyvlia
  • Tell Carver
• Kill Wyvlia
• Speak with Magister Carver

Stewart's Investigation

• Speak with Stewart outside the Black Bull
• Speak with Spirit of Magister Harrick inside the Black Bull (optional)
  • Note: Requires the spell Spirit Vision obtained from the quest Powerful Awakening
• Obtain physical proof
  • Steal Chef Wyvlia's Hitlist
  • Steal Magister Seal
  • Have an Elf eat a Meaty Stew purchased at Black Bull
• Decide:
  • Confront Wyvlia
  • Tell Stewart
• Kill Wyvlia
• Speak with Stewart (if he survived the encounter)
• Speak with Magister Carver

Investigation Over

• Start the quest by speaking with Stewart or Carver
  • Obtain proof (optional)
  • Confront Wyvlia and persuade her (Elf only, optional)
  • Confront Wyvlia and aplaud her for eliminating Magisters (optional)
• Kill Carver

  • 1000 exp for speaking with Carver
  • 2000 exp for obtaining physical proof
  • 2000 exp for telling Carver about Wyvlia
  • 4000 exp for killing Wyvlia
  • 5000 exp for reporting to Carver
• Selection of random rare quality equipment, 1 random rune and some gold

Stewart's Investigation

• Overall: 14 000 experience
  • 1000 exp for speaking with Stewart
  • 2000 exp for obtaining physical proof
  • 2000 exp for telling Stewart about Wyvlia
  • 4000 exp for killing Wyvlia
  • 5000 exp for letting Stewart take the credit

Investigation Over

• Overall: 5800 experience
  • 1000 exp for speaking with Stewart or Carver
  • 2000 exp for obtaining physical proof
  • 2800 exp for killing Carver
• Items inside the room where Carver was can be taken without stealing

Notes

• To get the most experience it is advised to speak with both Carver and Stewart as they both give 1000 experience as they give you the information about the missing magisters.
• If the quest They Shall Not Pass has been completed and the player decides to eliminate Magister Carver, Mari Pruitt will not join the fight (as ally or enemy).
