Poison Bottle

Template:Pagename nd is a consumable item in Divinity: Original Sin 2.

Characteristics

Template:Pagename nd is a potion which can be consumed by any character. When consumed by a "living" character they will be dealt poison damage. If the File:Magic Armour Icon.png Magic Armour is 0 they will be afflicted with File:Poisoned.png Poisoned status effect which will deal further poison damage.

The damage of the potion and the longevity of the status effect depends on the size of the poison bottle. Larger bottles deal greater damage and last longer. Characters with Glass Cannon and/or Undead talent will be afflicted File:Poisoned.png Poisoned status effect regardless of their Magic Armour value.

Undead characters will be always afflicted with File:Poisoned.png Poisoned status effect as it is considered a "positive" status effect for them. They possess an innate + 200 % File:Poison Resistance Icon.png Poison Resistance which causes any poison damage taken to restore their Vitality. Note that the value of healing provided scales of Hydrosophist.

Following NPCs sell a large variety of potions and thus have a solid chance (not guaranteed) of having Template:Pagename nd in their stock. Note that as a consumable item Template:Pagename nd may be very randomly sold by other NPCs.

Crafting

Outside of creating poison bottles or using them to create a grenade, they can be combined with any weapon to permanently give it additional small poison damage. Additionaly poison bottles can be mixed with other consumable items (with few exceptions) to turn them into "Poisoned" consumable item that, instead of restoring Vitality, deals poison damage.
