Persuasion is a civil skill in Divinity: Original Sin 2.

Persuasion helps the player pass dialogue checks when interacting with NPCs. Persuasion also rises attitude with NPCs and thus affects the prices of merchants slightly, but not as much as Bartering skill. Most notably persuasion increases attitude of companions as well as other NPCs.

The attitude is increased by 5 points per each point invested in this skill.
