Grasp of the Starved is an expert Necromancer source skill.

Description

edit

The caster calls forth undead hands which rise from blood surfaces in a chosen 5-metre radius area (within 13 metres of the caster). The hands deal immediate physical damage to all characters standing in a blood surface or blood cloud of any type (frozen, cursed, blessed, etc.). Characters not standing fully in a blood surface or cloud are unaffected. The surfaces remain intact and unchanged after casting.

Characters without physical armour are afflicted with Crippled, immobilising them.

Because Grasp of the Starved relies on Necromancer magic, it cannot be cast if the caster is affected by Silenced or Enraged. The skill's damage is not reflected by Deflective Barrier (Definitive Edition only).

As a Necromancer skill, damage dealt directly to an enemy's vitality heals the caster. The amount healed is affected by points invested in the Necromancer ability.
