Global Cooling is an offensive Hydrosophist skill that allows the character to release a wave of cold around themselves. This wave deals water damage to all enemies in a 13-meter radius from the caster. This skill will also freeze all water and blood surfaces as well as erase their cloud counterparts. Alongside freezing susceptible surfaces in range, it will also douse all fire surfaces and clouds. This skill will also douse all blessed fire surfaces and clouds but do nothing against cursed fire surfaces and clouds.

Characters without Magic Armour will be afflicted with Chilled or Frozen (if the target is already affected by Wet or Chilled) status effects for 2 turns and suffer damage directly to their health. Due to this skill dealing area of effect damage around the caster, it will most likely reveal all hostile characters under the Invisible status effect in a 13-meter radius from the caster.

Since Global Cooling relies on Hydrosophy magic, it cannot be cast if the caster is affected by Silenced and Enraged status effects. Global Cooling skill is not reflected back when the target is under Deflective Barrier skill (Definitive Edition only).
