Buttons is an undead cat imprisoned on Bloodmoon Island.
Background
editButtons is a pet cat that was the only family to Iris as she attended Good Counsel School in Arx. [1] Before Iris was possessed she saved Buttons when it was but a kitten and kept it safe until she became possessed. Due to this Buttons regards it as a duty to protect her at all costs. [2]

Interactions with the player character
edit- The cat has to be persuaded so that player can approach the child.
- There are three available persuasion options: Strength, Finesse and Intelligence
- If you manage to teleport the child to The Lady Vengeance, Buttons will only "meow" and say "Mistress is gone! I can still smell her.... she must be near. I'll find her, no matter how long it takes."

edit- Silent as the Grave - Buttons must be killed or persuaded to allow the Godwoken to save the child.

Notes
edit- If you complete either Silence Broken or Purity of Divinity side quests, Iris will say she's going back for Buttons before she teleports away and rewards the Godwoken for saving her.
