Leech
Consume blood surfaces to restore Vitality.
Leech is a talent.
Overview
[edit source]Leech causes a character to consume blood surfaces and blood clouds on contact, restoring 64 vitality. The entire connected surface or cloud is consumed at once, and the heal amount is the same regardless of the amount of blood consumed. The heal is affected by Hydrosophist.
Strategy
- Leech provides passive healing during melee combat. Blood surfaces are created whenever a character or enemy takes physical damage to vitality, and Leech immediately consumes the surface, making the character noticeably harder to kill through sustained physical damage.
- Elf characters benefit most from Leech, as their racial skill Flesh Sacrifice creates a blood surface directly beneath them, and the healing partially offsets Flesh Sacrifice's health cost.
- Leech also creates a minor synergy with Elemental Affinity for Necromancer builds, as both talents benefit from blood surfaces.
- However, Leech is a defensive talent that does not increase damage output. Most builds are better served by offensive alternatives.
Notes
[edit source]- The internal talent ID is `Leech`.
- Leech has no effect for Undead characters.
